First the surface of titanium dioxide (TiO 2) nanoparticles was
treated with a nonionic polymer hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and an
anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulphate.HPMC and SDS were adsorbed onto
the surface of TiO 2 nanoparticles ,and then methyl methacrylate and butyl
methacrylaate wera grafted on the surface.Using orthogonal design methon
the optimum reaction condition were obtained.The properties of the
composite particled were characterized by TEM and FTIR.In addition,the
thermal properties of the composite material were investigated by
thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).
